West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional find of a 1989 Toyota Supra Turbo 2 Door Liftback with the desirable 5 speed manual transmission and boasting only 68K original miles in its original 'White' factory color paint and 'Dark Blue' leather interior!
The Supra name first appeared in the Celica range on the Celica Supra which unlike the other 4 cylinder cars in the range but had a 2.8L straight 6 cylinder twin cam engine. By 1986 the two names had separated again and the Supra was completely restyled. Its engine was upgraded to 3.0 litres with 24 valves with power over 200 bhp. Three years later in 1989 Toyota added the intercooled turbo for over 232 bhp with much improved mid range torque. This immediately turned the car into supercar territory, from a cruising GT to a drag racing street monster! Wishbone suspension plus fattened anti-roll bars for outstanding handling, 11" vented disc brakes with ABS, power steering and a 5 speed manual transmission for the ultimate supercar!
This is an extremely nice and well sorted all original survivor example, owned obviously by only very careful and mature owners, never raced or abused with no history of any accidents or rust and a car that has always obviously always been garaged and which has a clean CARFAX report for confirmation of the miles and previous history.
It boasts its original spare wheel, jack and tools and the car has very nice original paint and its original factory 'Dark Blue' leather interior which is also in remarkably good condition throughout. The 3.0L intercooled turbo charged straight 6 cylinder engine is extremely strong and powerful with only 68K original miles and the rare 5 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears.
