The 1986 Spartan Series II departs from other neoclassic cars in that its based on the contemporary Nissan 300ZX chassis, rather than a domestic platform, which means you get not only the tried and proven reliability and great performance of the legendary 300ZX but with the renown durable 3.0L V6 engine along with the neo classic look!
With the 300ZX as a starting point, the 'Spartan Motorcar Company' of San Marcos, California, added bodywork that evokes the feel of a 1930s classic whilst the driver and passenger get to enjoy the reliability and performance of 1980s Japanese high-tech sophistication. The cockpit is pure 300ZX and features digital instruments and a button-laden audio system with a graphic equalizer. The Spartans powertrain is also pure 300ZX, powered by a 3.0-liter SOHC V6 that Nissan rated at 160 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque when new. The engine features a cast-iron block, aluminum cylinder heads, and electronic fuel injection.
This particular example is coated in a classic 'Burgundy' color paint with a matching leather interior and chrome wire wheels. Under the hood of this classic is the smooth running 300ZX 3.0L V6 engine with only some 7K original miles with a clean Carfax report to confirm both the cars history and mileage.
