Recently purchased from the car's long term original owner and a car which was owned and stored for many years in his obviously climate controlled storage facility. The car's engine runs as smooth as silk and the 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the car drives exactly as it should with such low original miles.
The car will be sold with a thick file of service records since new! Yes from 7/1974 to 5/2021! Very, very rarely, have we ever seen such a car of this vintage with such comprehensive and complete service history documenting the car's original 44K miles. From looking at these extensive service history, always at independent Jaguar specialists in Caldwell, NJ, in recent years at the renown 'Paul J. Maletsky' of West Caldwell, NJ; one can see at an instance that at no time was any expense spared on this particular cars preventive maintenance history, and it shows, the car is a phenomenally good driver!
The car has no rust whatsoever with the floor boards and all the typical rust-prone areas completely original, solid and rust-free! The car has had no major accidents of any kind and has a razor straight body. The car looks extremely impressive in it's original color paint and the car still boasts it's original Tan color leather interior with the door panels, dashboard, seats and carpets all in very fine condition. The original Black color soft top is in great shape and the car has it's original matching tonneau cover and very rare and desirable factory hard top. The factory chrome wire wheels are also in beautiful condition and the car has it's original spare wire wheel located in the trunk which of note has its all original wood trunk lining and the spare wheel compartment is all in remarkably intact and all original unspoilt condition.
