Drawing largely from the 1970 Challenger R/T, the new Challenger had a wide, menacing stance and was available in a variety of colors and with a selection of powerful engines, highlighted by the 425 hp SRT8. The Challenger became an instant hit for MOPAR fans who had been waiting years for such a release. The Challenger received a face-lift in 2015, with the high-performance SRT8 replaced by the SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat. The Hellcat put out an astonishing 707 hp, capable of rocketing to 60 mph in only 3.6 seconds and hitting a top speed of 199 mph. The SRT Hellcat comes with both red and black key fobs, with the black fob limiting the power output to 500 hp. The heart of this demonic Roadrunner is its 707+hp 6.2-liter Hemi V-8.This particular no expense spared custom is a true labor of love which literally must be driven to be believed with an awesome throaty sound for which the Mopars are renown and which you can check out on our You Tube page if interested. This is a rare opportunity to own a rare no expense spared example of a resto-mod with all the modern upgrades whilst retaining its original body and paint and which prove true to its roots! This very rare and highly desirable and collectible unabused example of one of the outstanding Mopar designs of the early seventies, a true modern day Hemi Hellcat muscle car matched to a super desirable 6 speed manual Hurts pistol grip shifter and most certainly one sure-fire investment that's bound to only appreciate over the years for any discerning classic American custom muscle car collector or simply any muscle car enthusiast!
