West Coast Classics are proud to present a beautiful example of this customized 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle 2 door Hardtop with SS emblems and hood and built with a built 572 Big Block engine matched to a 5 spd manual transmission and which is finished in a striking classic 'Racing Blue' tribute color with 'Gray racing stripes' and with a custom 'Black' interior. The Chevrolet Chevelle needs no introduction and is legendary amongst muscle car enthusiasts as a rugged car and therefore a perfect candidate for customizing. This no expense spared custom example is ready to show or cruise.
This particular example began life as a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle 2 Door Hardtop base model that was completely restored/modified to a pro touring setup and to look like an SS model and has only been driven a few hundred miles since the build was completed.
All components have been replaced. Everything from all new wiring and fuse panel, to brakes and lines, to suspension, to interior, to complete driveline, to fuel tank and electric pump, to a new a/c system, to the custom stereo and center console. It is a complete frame off custom restoration with receipts and photos for the build. All the work was done professionally between 2 shops located in Chico and Orland in southern California.
Body:
Chevelle 2-door coupe. New custom paint and stripes (sanded to bare metal, perfected, primed, painted, clear coated and hand polished/wet sanded). New chrome bumpers, new grille, new emblems, new light housings, new lights, new chrome trim, etc. Literally every single piece of trim, chrome, lights, emblems, etc. have been replaced with new.
Frame:
Frame coated in black industrial frame paint. Front half is boxed with a custom drop-out transmission brace/crossmember. UMI frame and strut braces front and rear.
Suspension:
UMI coil-over suspension system w/36 position adjustable Viking shocks. UMI tubular upper and lower front control arms with UMI springs. UMI tubular adjustable length upper and lower rear control arms w/ drag/street/race drop brackets, strut support braces and UMI springs. Front and Rear UMI sway bars.
Steering:
Hotchkiss drag links/steering system and increased ratio steering control box.
Rear End:
Custom built Ford 9" w/ 3.70 gears and Tru Trac Locker.
Brakes:
Complete Wildwood disc brake system. 12.19" rear vented and slotted rotors w/4-piston calipers. 12.99 front vented and slotted rotors w/6-piston calipers. Wildwood master cylinder and proportioning valve. Custom brake booster and custom routed hard brake lines with braided stainless ends/attachment.
Wheels/Tires:
American Racing Torque Thrust custom offset wheels 17x9 front and 18x10 rear. 255/40r17 front tires and 295/35r18 rear tires Ultra High Performance all-Season Continental Extreme Contact DWS.
Interior:
Everything is new and custom. Literally everything: New factory rear bench seat. New custom racing bucket seats. New carpet, new door panels and arm rests, new quarter wing panels, new rear arm rest panels, new headliner. New dash and dash pad with custom gauges and all new components, new custom paint-matched tilt steering column and Grant steering wheel. New custom 3-point retractable seatbelts front and rear w/new lap seatbelt in center rear. New sound mat lining on all floors, doors, fire wall, quarter panels, trunk, etc. Custom center console w/ custom stereo system (Pioneer display deck, 10" subwoofer with 2 6x9 rear deck speakers and 2 5x5.25 kick panel speakers in custom kick panels). Fully enclosed and trimmed trunk area w/remote enclosed battery box relocated to trunk with manual cut-off switch.
Driveline:
Transmission: Richmond Super Street 5-speed overdrive transmission with Long Shifter and shifter arm and custom balanced driveline with oversize yokes/u-joints, etc.
Engine System: Custom built White Performance 572 Big Block motor. Full dyno tune and break-in. Dart Big M block w/all custom internals, aluminum heads and intake, Fitech fuel injection system, custom Lemons Headers, Pypes 3" exhaust system w/electric bypass and x-pipe. Custom serpentine belt system w/a/c compressor, power steering w/billet remote reservoir, alternator and idle pulley. Aluminum radiator w/dual electric fans. MSD ignition system, etc., etc., etc.
You can be sure there are plenty more parts and custom goodies that we have forgotten to list, but we are sure you get the idea. EVERYTHING is new and/or custom and ALL is top-end components or gear.
