West Coast Classics are proud to present a surviving rust free example of this 1969 Jaguar XKE E-Type Series II 2+2 coupe with it's original matching number 6 cylinder 4.2L/246HP engine!
The car is a mostly all original survivor which has always been garaged since new in its original (1969-74 only) factory 'Regency Red' color with an all original Tan leather interior with desirable original factory options including;
Air conditioning,
automatic transmission,
chrome wire wheels,
tinted glass,
AM/FM radio with manual antenna,
disc brakes,
heater,
leather upholstery,
dual exhausts,
windshield washer,
adjustable steering wheel,
back up lights,
tachometer,
clock,
safety belts,
outside mirror,
padded dash
The car was reportedly always been garaged in California in recent years with the floor boards, trunk areas and all the typical rust-prone areas completely solid and rust-free and the car has had no accidents and has a very straight body. It's original 'Regency Red' color paint is showing its age as is the interior and the car would benefit from a cosmetic restoration. The car runs and drives very well with its original matching #'s 4.2L 6 cylinder engine and automatic transmission and the car has all of it's original chrome wire wheels and it's original spare wheel and tools are located in the trunk.
The Series II XKE E-Type Jaguar was only built between the years 1969-71 and there were only 5,326 Longer Wheel Base 2+2 coupes built. This is therefore an extremely rare opportunity to own a mostly all original and always rust free survivor of a 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II 4.2L 2+2, being offered as a great daily driver or great project for restoring for any English classic car lover or Jaguar enthusiast!
