West Coast Classics are proud to present a rare example of this older restoration and great running and driving example of an original German 1966 Volkswagen Type 23 Split Window 'Pop Top' Camper bus!
This bus was obviously garage kept since being restored as it has no rust and would appear to have all its OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts with the engine having been recently flushed out with new fluids replaced, the valves adjusted, rebuilt the carburetors and the brakes, adjusted the timing, a full tune up completed with new plugs, wires, cap and rotor to ensure the bus is ready to drive anywhere!
This Split Window VW camper van must be driven to be fully appreciated - the engine is extremely strong and responsive, the 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly through the gears, the van brakes great and the engine temperature always remains cool.
