West Coast Classics are happy to present this 1956 De Soto Firedome Seville 2 Door Hardtop with a 330/230HP 2 BBL Hemi V8 engine with a Powerflite 2 speed automatic transmission and with AM radio, the car recently came out of long term ownership and should be considered in 'driver quality' condition that shows well.
The car had already received a cosmetic restoration a few years ago when it was repainted in this striking two-tone color combination with a Black hardtop and a correct Black Tri Tone vinyl pattern interior but which we would describe as now being of only very average quality condition throughout. The chrome and stainless trim is all intact and frames the handsome mid century classic and dramatic two-tone Black & Pink (Good N Plenty Candy!) theme well and with the classic legendary Virgil Exnor forward look from the chrome head light surrounds to the tail lights, this is a pleasing looking car that although tired and in need of TLC would prove a desirable running project for the restorer or enthusiast. Please also note there is evidence of both the right and left rocker panels having been replaced, along with the floor pans.
We recently acquired the car as it is and have priced it accordingly.
