One of the earliest collectibles amongst post-war cars, the two seater Thunderbirds of 1955-57 have if anything only gained in popularity as the years have passed which inspired the tribute models built between the years 2002-05. They were originally a sales triumph over Chevrolet's Corvette with clean styling, creature comforts and of course V8 refinement.

The floor boards, trunk and all the typical rust-prone areas are solid and rust-free and the car has a very straight body - obviously an always garaged and cherished car since new. The car has it's original factory matching color hard top and 'White' soft top and its original 292 4V V8 engine which has been rebuilt and upgraded with a '57 intake and Holley carburetor and which is obviously therefore extremely strong and powerful and sounds magnificent. The car also has been upgraded to a 12 volt electrical system.
This particular car drives absolutely magnificently - must be driven to be fully appreciated - does not miss a beat and purrs like a kitten - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day sports car a run for it's money! The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears and the car has four relatively new radial wide white wall tires.
