This particular truck's powerful 239ci V8 engine runs strong and sounds absolutely magnificent and the truck drives really well - must be driven to be appreciated - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver with a smooth and easy transmission shift and effortless acceleration. The truck had recently come out of storage and had undergone an extensive nuts and bolt mechanical and cosmetic restoration some 4 years ago leaving the truck looking and driving as good as when new!
This first generation F1 series was built between 1948-52 and had a maximum GVWR of 4,700 lbs and the F-series was given a facelift in 1951 with the original five horizontal bars bars under the hood being replaced by one massive bar supported by three similarly chunky uprights for a more masculine and aggressive look. The truck now also had a better cab and technical advances such as a vacuum ignition advance device plus both beefed-up transmission and brakes.
This is an extremely unusual opportunity to own a great daily driving example of this nuts and bolts restored and extraordinarily rare and very desirable original 1952 Ford F1 V8 Pick Up in exceptional daily driving condition ready for any classic American truck, collector or enthusiast to enjoy or collect today!
