West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and completely rust free example of this highly desirable first year of production 1971 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible with all it's original factory specifications including it's original 500 c.i. 365 HP V8 engine! The 1971 Cadillac Eldorado is considered by some enthusiasts as the most desirable of the 1970's line of Eldorado convertibles due to it's low production of only 6,800 models (compared to 14,000 in the last year of 1976), first year off the line and obviously being ridiculously fast for a car of it's size and weight with the high 365 horsepower 500 c.i. 8.2L V8 engine (only produced in the 1971-72 models and reduced to only 235HP in 1973; 210HP in 1974 and 190HP in 1975-76!).
Recently purchased from a renown Palm Springs classic car dealership in southern California owner with an undocumented 104K miles! Obviously always garaged kept since new considering it's completely rust free body with no sun damage! The car has it's original factory 'Casablanca Yellow' color paint with a lovely white leather interior and with a matching white soft top with a glass rear window. The car looks very striking with only very minor imperfections for it's age. The white soft top and headliner have obviously been replaced at some point recently and are in excellent condition. The white color leather interior seats are also in great condition throughout as is the entire interior. The car has very good condition carpeting and the dashboard is in gorgeous original shape with no cracks or blemishes! All the car's options are working including the power windows and the power soft top, although the power soft top's motor is becoming a little tired and slow on the uptake! The original engine is extremely strong and powerful and this particular car drives absolutely magnificently - must be driven to be appreciated and seen to be believed - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles! Please note that the car has had an after market detachable face CD player professionally installed in the dash but the original radio is available and will be included with the car (see photos below).
