This is a very rare highly factory optioned 1966 Buick Wildcat Custom with it's original 425 c.i. 4 barrel V8 engine - the same car and engine as the Buick Wildcat Grand Sport but without the GS equipment package! The 425 cid V8 with a single 4 barrel carburetor rated at 340HP at 4400 rpm and 465 lbs of torque at 2800 rpm! It came only with a Super Turbine automatic transmission and a 3.23:1 ratio axle. This car was one rare blend of size and performance in the muscle car era!

Purchased and serviced by original California owner at 'Braley & Graham Buick' of Sacramento, California on 11-24-1965 with every single piece of paperwork from the initial dealer's handwritten estimate of the cost of the purchase price of the car with the added options to the selling invoice and each and every service record since new!! The Wildcat Custom was a plusher version of the full sized Buick Wildcat with deluxe options including a plush interior. This particular example is in very fine condition throughout. The floor boards, trunk and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free and the car has no signs of any major accidents of any kind - obviously a garaged and cherished southern California driver only. The car looks extremely impressive although with older and somewhat faded paintwork in it's original 'Saddle Mist Poly' color. The original Barrington cloth and Madrid grain vinyl interior is in exceptional and virtually completely original condition with every option working and functioning as it should including the radio and all power options including the power top and only the two rear windows and the air conditioning are not working!
