West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and beautiful restored example of this southern California 1969 Ford Mustang which was built in San drydje, California and born with a 302 2V 220HP V8 engine, Aztec Aqua paint a (very light Turquoise blue color), a standard interior with Black Vinyl with Black Knitted Vinyl bench seat, automatic C4 transmission, air conditioning and delivered to Los Angeles, California where we understand it has spent it's entire life.
It was sold in 2001 to a California owner who restored the car and rebuilt the engine, replaced all the brake and suspension parts and repainted the car in a very striking 'Royal Blue' color paint. The car was sold in 5/2008 to it's most recent owner who's only knowledge of the car's history is what he was told by the previous owner. There is no evidence of any rust or accidents. Please note that the car was badged as a 351 Windsor engine model on the air filter cover and the hood when restored, although we understand from the previous owner that the car has it's original 302 2V V8 engine which has been rebuilt and we have confirmed the engine block casting numbers in order to establish that the car indeed a 302 2V V8 engine.
This car must be seen and driven to be fully appreciated - a seriously striking example which turns heads wherever she goes! The engine is extremely strong and responsive with excellent oil pressure and no noticeable oil leaks and which sounds absolutely magnificent, the transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the engine temperature always remains cool.
The car's repaint is of a very good quality with a very professional finish and with only minor imperfections noticeable upon close inspection. The restored interior is also absolutely gorgeous with every option working as it should and with only very few miles since it's restoration. This must be one of the finest example's available anywhere of this increasingly collectible and desirable last year of the sixties Mustang's, the legendary 1969 Ford Mustang in rare turn-key ready daily appreciating and daily head-turning condition of an all time classic America icon!
